    If I happened to miss this I do apologize for the question. What shocks are you using
    mounted to the frame in the pictures, and who's "X" member did you install - did you
    build it yourself, or purchase a kit from someone? Thanks for a wonderful read ! :cool:

    Hi Steve,

    The shocks are lever Armstrongs, used on early British cars like MG's and Triumphs. they are aluminium bodied and oil filled. i think that they are great choice for shocks they come up pretty cheap on for sale sites or swap meets. plus they have a great look i think. plus the lever makes them more flexible for placement. and they work really well.
    The x member i made, and came to regret it because it made my clutch and brake pedals really complicated. Thnks! Alan

    Awesome finish! You did a fantastic job, so proud of you my friend! I'm happy you finished out your build thread as well. Completion on a huge project is something to be very proud of.
