Only 2 people doing their best to keep the lights on and publishing, shipping and answering the hundreds if not thousands of questions and complaints.

After all the initial hooplah about the Rodders Journal stiffing all their customers I thought it was time to stick a fork in the magazine, heck it was done, just another publication gone for good, but out of the goom and doom Steve managed to publish another magazine, on time? NO in a timely manor NO but he did make a effort and for that I'm thankful as a life time subscriber but if I never get another Rodders Journal it was great while it lasted.

Again, I would like to see Steve make good on all the overseas subscribers and getting them caught up before shipping any new issues to the subscribers here in the United States, this may not be a popular belief with my fellow friends here in the Good old USA but it would be the right thing to do for the publication. As we approach the. Beginning of March I’m watching my mailbox. Still hoping to see that pair of white envelopes with my issues.

Son of a bitch!!!!!!!! I'd better go check my mail box. I'm not sure how many issues I have left before it runs out and they don't answer my emails.

On Feb 17 2023 issue 84 showed up in the mail, witch I already had. I don't know where my issue 85 is and it's been so long I am not sure where my subscription stands?

  9. Steve told me, at Louisville, that I would be receiving my subscription issues, still nothing. Its hard keeping the faith. I'd be willing to buy a new subscription and start over, if I just knew what they want to do.

Any guidance on not getting the latest issue? I had a subscription and only got 2. Who do I call to help me get what I paid for?

Good luck, if you live in the US you probably have a chance of getting it.

As far as replies to your emails go don’t put any faith into that.
I finally did get a reply and a promise of getting my issues and so far nothing.

I'd be willing to subscribe, but there is no communication on what they're doing and the other Canadians seem to be left out in the cold (pun intended). Not worth wasting my money or energy on.

If I lived near the RJ I would work for free to help him along in his struggle.(I am retired) Maybe he could get some free prison help?............

Probably shouldn't talk about prison. It might give some folks ideas about unfulfilled promises and lost money .

Maybe the solution is a sort of "progressive dinner" style thing.
Once you have read it, you could send it to the next guy to read, and so on down the line.
Yeah I know, not the best idea, but it is better than what most people are currently getting .......o_O

    Per their website:
    The Rodder's Journal (roddersjournal.com)

In 2022 we plan to resume a normal publishing schedule. We are working on shipping/reshipping all orders that have been placed but have not been received.

Until we have taken care of these issues, we are not accepting new orders for subscriptions, back issues or merchandise. We feel we must take care of existing obligations before accepting new business. Once we are ready to take and receive phone calls, orders etc. we will send out an email blast notifying you.

Sadly, I would be very surprised if they survive. The lack of communication about whatever is happening (and no resolution over an extended period) is not a good sign for a business.

  24. My collection has some holes in it, so I've been buying those and reading them. Better than nothing I guess.

My God! You people need to accept the fact that Rodder's Journal is dead, and it's not coming back. Accept this, and you will be happier.

THEN, if it magically rises out of the ashes like a Phoenix, you will be happy. Just quit beating on the poor guy and let it go.

I have for some time been a fairly strong critic of the very poor communication from Rodders Journal (and I still am)
But today my T shirt order from over 2.5 years ago finally arrived with a post mark of 20 February 2023 so there might yet be some hope for international subscribers.

I still have received no emails or communications from them in any form and not received any of the Journals on my A and B cover subscription since number 82 but at least I have some new T shirts to wear.

Interestingly the T shirts arrived via USPS. I am not sure when USPS resumed postal services to Australia but now that they have resumed may be there is some hope of competition in the shipping prices.

A couple of years back I subscribed to RJ. Soon after I started seeing posts here that things were not going well. I paid for the subscription with Pay Pal and they refunded my money. Imagine my shock and surprise when I received issue number 84 in the mail a few week ago. It is such a well done magazine I will be happy to subscribe again after things seem to be up and running smoothly. Pay Pal of course.
