  4. Funny, when I met Axle at Paso and he was at A&W , with all the guys in club jackets I was hooked. I went back home and looked for a jacket like those and put my nickname, Bad Bob on it, didn't have an old car yet. Found this one that says Hotrod Hell on it. Still have it. I always wanted to be in a club and when I met Bob Hill of the ACES, years ago, I told him, when I get a Hotrod I'm joining the ACES...I remember when I got my Merc, I would go to shows and the guys running the event would say, NO Ratrods! It was satin black, no interior, no mufflers. I drove it to the Primer Nats every year, fit right in, and the first four years I drove there it broke down on the way home, lol. Fun times....

Hey, all--as we're working on the final touches of the Director's Cut full-length feature, I was telling my production team (Matt and Kyle) that the one thing still bothering me is that we didn't have enough footage/pics of Marky's Purple People Eater and Anthony's Brown Neck Bandito from back in The Day. Anyone holding? We'd love to incorporate more imagery of those cars into the feature film before we hit the festival circuit...

  7. I watched the new episode 3 times. Fantastic. I would also like to see more footage on the PPE. I have watched what is out there on Marky"s car many times. This stuff you are putting out is great Stoner. Thanks again. I am in my shop working on my Model A drag coupe and keep rolling your videos over and over.

  12. I am not a fan of the Hi-tech style cars but I can respect the work and craftsmanship it takes to build them, and to see that a guy like Chip Foose understands, respects, and gets it is awesome!

Watched the first ep yesterday and the second today, great stuff!
The late eighties and nineties were the prime of my life and between Japan and Australia I was totally consumed by Rockabilly and Jalopies. Actually, not much has changed in that way.

At some point in the future, @axle @Stoner , you guys are going to have to make a pilgrimage out to Bakersfield, and shoot some footage, at Squeak Bells super cool shop and party house/private saloon.

I would assume you both have been out there a few times.

If not, here is some incentive to attend Squeaks annual piss up,
pre-party, when the CHRR happens at FAMOSO.

By the way, congratulations on the great videos, they kick ass!

Some shots from Squeaks place back in 2016.
    Enjoy from Dennis.

SO bitchin!!! Finally got to hang out with Squeak before/during our Shifters release party at SEMA last November. Hadn't seen him in almost 20 years and back then, I didn't know who he was...that guy's a national treasure!

Howdy, Squeak is a member of the Shifters, and we have frequented his shops/museum countless times over the decades. He's a bit camera shy, so you won't hear him in the Documentary, but photos of him were definitely added. Thanks

    Very well done.
Being somewhat isolated here in "flyover country" (a.k.a. the rural midwest!) the first inkling I had about any of this movement was a Gray Baskerville article in Hot Rod Magazine about the Burbank Choppers. I remember thinking, these guys are on to something.
    Yeah, I guess they were!
    Great stuff, thanks for posting.
