Wonder if the front edge of the fenders could be pinched in at the bottom and the bumper shortened to match.
To flow with the grill.
I e seen a couple f100 with the fenders modified like that.

 

The space on the edge of the fenders and under the hood bothers me. The rest looks ok.

 

What are those grill bars ? And headlights ?

 

They look very similar to the Corvair Van lights.
