The Weddle-Nichols, record setting Willys Gas Sedan from the December 1959 Riverside Raceway huge East vs West drag meet, including the Gas Coupe and Sedan Classes.

Hello,
I have been searching for any identification on a red primer 4 door Willys sedan that was at the same meet. It is one of the only drag racers I do not have any identification for its owner or driver, plus any info on the motor drive set up. It was very fast, had tons of power and sounded like a 671 supercharged SBC motor. But, it was in 1959 and any indication of the ID is long gone. After all, these were family and friends home movies, not a documentary film for the general public for profit.

At the same drag race event, a record setting 4 door GREEN Willys Sedan was also present and did well in the class. The Weddle-Nichols Willys was well known in So Cal drag racing circles.
In 1959, we had the details, but as recorded films go, a scrap of paper here and there gets lost over time. There was no mention of this particular RED PRIMER Willys 4 door sedan from the drag race day. Some one mentioned another 4 door Willys sedan at the same drag meet. Yes, that was the C/Gas Record Holder, Weddle/Nichols green sedan from So Cal.
Just to make the information clear.

On this day, Weddle-Nichols-Peters won the B/Gas Class. But, previously, it set the record for the C/Gas Class on a different day.

@jnaki Speaking of Willys with no info. Do you know anything about this one posted above. I've never see any info on the driver or anything.
