Hey Guys, I know I am putting the cart before the horse considering that I still have to put in the new motor, new seals in the trans, install PG rear-end, rewire the whole car, bodywork, paint, etc.... but as I am still Winter dreaming/collecting parts for the Spring I was wondering who still sells the old style teardrop knobs for my dash??? I love the old 50's bomber & custom look and setting the dash off with some blue & white knobs similar the the Hirohata Merc would be cool. The only problem is I haven't found anybody that is selling them, I found 1 guy on ebay, but I would rather use a friend to the HAMB, anybody have a good vendor or friend selling these or if you have a line on somebody that would be great. As always the help is greatly appreciated.

I saw these a couple of weeks ago, these are cool! I don't see holes or a set screw. How do they attach? More details please? I think I want a bunch for King Of Trucks.

I believe NADS did a tech thread on how to make custom knobs such as those....I already did a search and came up dry....anyone else know what the hell I'm talking about....it was pretty cool.

    EDIT:

Sorry I was wrong, twisted my search and looked a bit better and found what I was talking about

I love teardrop knobs. Today I finally got the burgundy/deep red acrylic teardrop shifter that I wanted for a while now. Originally ordered one from Mooneyes only to be contacted later to hear that they were out and didn't know when they'd get more. Broke down and bought this one off the auction site. Painted the background of my gauges a deep red to match. I'm stoked!:D

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I'm tearing apart my dash and looking at ideas, and I had to ask. Kripfink, that Kustom because stock ****s sticker, did you metalflake it or did it come that way? All the ones I've seen seem to just be plain! I actually want a flake one if I can find it! Where'd ya get it from? Thanks!

So, every link on this thread is dead. I know it's an old thread, but it's better than starting another one.

    Anyone have a good source?

Look up pen turning blanks, all sorts of wild colors and patterns of acrylic available. Plus you can glue up other colors to it and turn it like Moriarity showed
