  1. Remember Nathan Cooper? Yes. The scammer and artwork thief from a few years back....well he now runs " The Flatspot" on Instagram and Facebook....and he's still scamming people! Taking their money and not sending product.

Have you been scammed by Nathan Cooper? I'd like to hear about it. Please post here. Thanks

A pox on him and every thief like him.

  6. Hard to believe that someone hasn’t taken revenge on him.
I bought some 40 Ford replacement gauge faces from him.
    JUNK.
Shiny, cheap faces, no holes for the needles to go through.
Didn’t look anything like his pics.
His response was “If you can’t punch a few holes, maybe you shouldn’t be building cars.”
FUCK HIM! And his trusty steed.

Thanks for posting. I've seen his stuff on FB, and I thought, wait a minute. Isn't this the asshole I've read about on the HAMB?

  8. Seriously guys. He can't even identify a factory relieved Mercury flathead....some expert.

Seriously do a search. He's scammed a lot of hambers.

I'm not saying he going to even not deliver if you order from him. Just that he has ripped off notable guys that I trust and have no reason to lie about him.

A few years back I got scammed for a $450 flathead ignition (Harmon & Collins dual coil, in the box!)
The seller lived out of state, so he thought he was safe. (this was back in 2004, so I was a hothead then)
The more I thought about it, the worse it got.
I bought ticket, flew to his town, got a cab to his address, and rang the doorbell. When he answered, I fired on him through the screen door. Right haymaker, really put my shoulder into it.
Fat guy, maybe muscular. Went down flat.
I walked briskly to the cab, cabbie asked if there was likely to be 'trouble'? I said, "No, that was all the trouble."
Right back to the airport. Didn't even eat.
Wish I could still do that... No, maybe I don't. But it was 'righteous'.
    Cost a lot. Worth it.

Lol sometimes we spend $10,000 to make a $5 point Mike :D I like your style. The older I get, and closer to my pension, I realize that prison might be somewhat better that the Kentucky retirement system lmao!

First I heard of him, he was hawking parts as “the ol’parts mining company”.

If he is not scamming on the Hamb, then why is this post here? wouldn't it be more appropriate on whatever social media he is scamming on?

  20. I mean...he has scammed hambers in the past and recently did it to current members. Posts are up on Instagram, Facebook and here. I'm just interested in keeping hamb members from making the mistake of dealing with him or not realizing it is him.

Are you familiar with the history he has here? Google "Nathan Cooper the hamb" and there is a lot of past threads on him.

  21. Also this isn't my sandbox. If you guys don't want this here. I understand. But thought that members should know what he's up too.

Just a thought man, we have our alliance vendors that are vetted and offer discounts, I check the list before I buy anything just because of that.

Maybe then the adverse? A list of non-vetted vendors to stay on alert with or avoid entirely. A PSA for our members to protect their hard-earned dollars. Sort of a BBB for hot rodders, pinned it to the main board. It would prevent these types of threads while protecting our own.

I can think of a few that deserve high honors on such a list.

Scammers are among us. Some are still on the HAMB and praised. I’m still waiting for my prize from many years ago.
