  6. That's actually a built model kit on the cover of Car Craft! The people were "photo-shopped" in.

October 1962, I was 12 and that cover hit me like a freight train. That’s why I built a T bucket in metal shop in high school. Come to think of it, my H.S. girlfriend was slender with short dark hair too.
Is that a ‘60 Olds steering wheel and 4-bar front suspension on the model? Like Paul’s T.
The front axle is too far forward on the real one and they should have copied the headers and rear wishbones exactly. Love the red and white bucket seats in the model.

Similar, but not the one. Maybe the one I'm thinking of, wasn't cover material. Had Dan Woods, + others in it. Like your pic, shot from hi-up, like from on top of a building?

Every hot rodder’s nightmare; an unattended kid and hot pipes. I can almost hear the scream….

Nice little car, It’s mean and green with a 215.

i remember the time my girlfriend touched one of my bike's pipes with her leg. but good point about keeping kids clear of a car just parked.

I've seen that photo before and still maintain that's Joe Namath at the steering wheel!

    Me too!

These are the way too commonly used sprint car headers.

Yep, not only are the headers cool but it’s got an FE in it. I haven’t seen very many FE powered T buckets.
They used a pretty generic set of sprint car style headers when they built the big Big T, it kind of cheapens it somehow. They should have reproduced the ones on the model.
