  2. I can't do video when I am hanging on to steering wheel and shifter levers, watching for cops, and ass wipe drivers in electric cars.:D

  3. It's like building my Henry J, I want it's history to show through to show that it's been a hot rod for a long time, not some fresh perfect build that's supposed to look old.
So I left some rough looking work alone instead of redoing it, what's hard is trying to blend new work in with the old without it looking like a night and day difference between the two.
It all gives it character I guess, plus I'm not particularly fond of electrical anymore since I'm totally dependent on an electric box in my chest, let's not do anything to mess with the rhythm of that baby...lol

You know now that wiring will be the first thing I look at when in the garage, damn you.

That silly thing never like to stay on. I did find it later hiding at the back of the inner wheel well.

  12. Got the new to me idler pulley in and the damn thing is to narrow, I never ask the width because he was selling several standard 8 mm pulleys with it so I just assumed it took a 3 inch belt.
And ya wonder how a guy gets a stack of useless parts lol

    20230329_194537.jpg

Dug through my other useless parts to possibly come up with a gas cap for the J

  18. That's a good question.

Norm, came up with a piece he had stashed, somewhere in the shop. I'll ask him tomorrow, where be buys it from.

  19. I was using the stock filler when I had the tank in the stock position under the car

But since I moved it inside the car I'll have to cut a hole in the body in the trunk area somewhere around here, just have it sitting over the top of a magnet to get an idea now.

Brakes on my avatar. Been working ok but needed maintenance. Going with smaller wheel cylinders for easier lever pressure.

I built a frame for my new gas tank transplant. Haven't made my mind up if I'm gonna weld it to the car or drill and bolt.... made a notch to sit on the sub rail. 20230331_183058.jpg 20230331_183121.jpg

And I've worked on the convertible suspension. Had to order ball joints so that came to a halt.
