Technical Shanafelt 4 banger intake

    Running this shanafelt intake on one of my 4bangers but never seen annother. Does any one else run shanefelt intake on ther banger or ever seen one?
    Strangely the logo is on the down side were it can not be seen.

  2. Bill Shanafelt built parts out of his garage, for Mopars as well as Fords and Chevys.
    Out of the Portland, OR area.

    I have a Shanafelt intake for a 216 chevy.

    not right now but its still on my car so can get anny you want, angels or what your looking for

    Maybe it was meant for an updraft carburetor; that would put the logo on top.

    Like TCTND said may have been meant for an updraft carburetor. Then again they could have used one casting for both up and down maybe machining according to application.

    but were there any updraft carb with the ford 3 bolt pattern?

    I don't remember any two-barrel updrafts with the Ford 3-bolt flange.

    Most two-barrel updrafts were a 4-bolt or 6-bolt flange. Marvel made a few for Buick with a 3-bolt flange, but much larger than the Ford 3-bolt.

    Of course 4--->3 adapters existed.
