Got a question, had to make a filler neck for my gas tank. The tank i put in the car has no provision for a vent. Will I be on as long as I run a vented cap? Or do I need to put a vent in my filler neck before it goes into the tank?

 

just use a vented cap...

 

I called lumpy because I was wanting to put it in the car. He had the same thoughts. It's a 2" pipe all the way. So I can just take it slow when I fill it, I was more worried about it not being able to pull gas without the vent lol.

I'll take it to the gas station tmrw and see how it does, if it's that bad I'll stick one in the top of the filler neck and run a hose back up by the cap
