I recently bought a nos isky cam tag, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could send it to be stamped like isky used too? I have a 400jr in the car and this will be a nice touch.

    thanks, chris. 211D609C-D1D8-4D8C-9EBF-A53C8913E131.jpeg

Another option is an engraving machine, some jewelry stores, sporting goods or even stationery stores in your area might have one. The characters are set up on a platen and a stylus traces them to do the engraving.

Thanks for the suggestion! If I can’t find a way to do it like it used to be done then this is a great alternative.

  4. If there is a trophy shop in your area, thay can handle it too.

Too bad someone didn’t have an original timing tag stamper from the good ol days.

Looking at images on the web, the stamp types are all different, depending on who
ground the cam I'm guessing, so it does give you more leeway...

I could be mistaken but to my knowledge Isky did not stamp them the buyer of the cam stamped it. I remember those plates from the old days and I'm pretty sure they were unstamped, I have 2 right now unstamped.

Oh interesting, that’s good to know. I’m super new to these and just assumed the shop stamped them. Thank you!

This is mine from my great uncle's 50's/60's speed shop.....with the original screws that came with the tags.

Any chance you could ask Isky how they were done? They are still in business after all.
