What do you listen to in your garage?

I was very fortunate to see George Thorogood and the Destroyers last month in Santa Rosa, CA. I know he fell ill recently and cancelled quite a few shows. Awesome entertainer and showman. The last time I saw him was in San Luis Obispo in 1985(ish) in a bar with the Screaming Trees. That was a whole different experience!

I just came back and played this for about the third time. Damn, they got some addictive, smokin' swing goin' on! Like to hear them share a stage with Asleep At The Wheel.

 

I've been listening to them for about 10 yrs and seen them a few times when they did venture into my area.

 

You know . . . I would have eventually found this video my own self. But thanks for saving me all that troublesome searching! The combination of those triple harmonies with Ray Benson's deep baritone is pure ear candy.

 

Here's an "All Star" line up that you've likely never seen or heard before. Quite a mixed bag of talent though.

 

Bonus points to anyone who knows what movie the intro sample is from

 

Not sure of the movie, but that car looks like a GM Holden LC Torana (1969-72).
