Projects 32 3 window build

Not to sound like Dr. Doom & really Like the attitude, but was concerned about the low hanging front bones, until I saw the lower grille pan in place, it might be wise to work up an extra replacement as I'm uncertain it will survive.

Great looking rod.
Now that it's been together for a while, can you comment a little on how it rides?

 

A chop would be cool, but it looks so good without the chop. I wouldn't chop this one.

 

Not my car but I talked to the owner today and he said it rides amazing. Have to be careful of roadkill and speed bumps but the car drives incredible. It's what you can expect when you have a car that was built by Henry at Steadfast.

 

Excuse my ignorance but what is that bar for running through both chassis rails?

 

@panhead_pete sway/anti-roll bar. Arms are pointed forward in these pics but, they'd point backwards in operation and have a small links to the diff housing

They are Alan Johnson pieces. There is also a version that mounts to the inside of the framerails in addition to the outboard version pictured. Beautifully made stuff.

Hey Rusty, just curious, do you still think it looks like a fiberglass street rod? Couldn't have been more wrong if you ask me.

I’m jealous too. But I do think it’s great that an owner found a builder who likes the same style and has the talent to bring it to life.

 

how is it Jealousy when a guy has a different opinion? He is entitled to his opinion the same as you are
