Thanks to a lead from two friends (and hambers) I learned about this 1932 wagon back in October. and I was lucky enough to bring it home a few weeks ago. I know that the project was previously owned by a shop teacher in Massachusetts, and that prior to his purchase it had spent many many years on cape cod. the chassis, engine and transmission were "fresh" and its painted, I will have some woodwork to complete (which I prefer) *note the temporary roof support courtesy of home depot. Thanks to those who have helped me locate a few missing parts thus far. fwiw.. its a B model, with a 4 cyl uses the same seat as 32 truck, Id love to see what or how others have addressed the front seats. I'll be seeking some 32 ford parts.. and posting progress here
Beautiful machine. Glad for you to find an iconic year. Owned previosly by the perfect curator. If you should need to go with stock formation, look up 'David G' on the Fordbarn Eariy V-8. He posesses several 32s and has written a book on the matters of factory fitness. A very nice and helpful gentleman. Enjoy
A second vote for posting your find over on the Ford Barn. Also research a deuce woody built by Bruce's Rod Shop in Texas a few years ago. It looked like a stocker but was much more. Just checked Bruce's Rod Shop's Facebook page and if you scroll down far enough there's a great shot of the 32 Woody they built. Worth a look.
Man, I am so happy for you!!! Hope all is well and hang in there with the rest of the school year, bud!
With a name of SawZaw sounds like He can handle giving it a haircut. Lol Beautiful ride . Love the look of woodies . Amazed by the cabinet making skills used to build them .
I'm betting there will be a bunch of revenge spending in the Sawzall house. Maybe a new kitchen AND bathroom.
Didn’t you have a second 40 wagon for sale some time back? I had just bought my coupe and was flat broke. Another missed opportunity. The B is a beautiful car. Great catch!
