Technical Help Identify This Light?

I got this light the other day in a box of lenses and I have no idea what it is from. I have never seen anything quite like this. The lens seems to be crimped in place and it looks like the bulb is soldered in. At first I thought maybe it was an old aftermarket cheapy. But, it says "Guide" on it. I can't quite make out the number ink stamped on the side.
Have any of you come across one like this before?
