So is this doing it when the secondary's just open or after they have been open?

In all seriousness, what does it do with a heavier spring?

It did the same thing with the purple spring, that's why I put the lighter one in it, figured as long as it doesn't bog down on the hit its good right? There's no bog. Only issue is when it hits that 5000 mark. Maybe it just is what it's gonna be and I'll just use that as the Rev limiter lmao

Maybe a jet change up or down if we can determine if it's going to rich or to lean.

And on another note I had a pop when I turned the wheel, one of the guys i work with climbed under it while I turned the wheel and said it's the leaf springs. So I came home this morning and made these. Is this acceptable? It fixed the pop lol 20230523_125936.jpg

The secondaries has the stock metering plate in it. I've got a quick fuel plate that i can stick in it that uses jets in the rear. Iirc i put 72's in the primary

This is a pertronix flame thrower coil, but the distributor is the $239 speedway selection lol. If I had a rotor ****on, cap, and wires I'd put the point setup in it. I don't have much time between a body shop, an upholstery shop, and a fire department job to get much done before Saturday though.

When it’s over get yourself an iron points distributor.

Yeah I think so myself. I cleaned everything with brake kleen and blew it all out. Used a tip cleaner on everything I could. Wonder if a little seafoam would do it any good?

Yes. The weights were so worn out that they were climbing over each other. It's got this in it now. 20230523_110458.jpg

Drove it up to the machine shop to hang out a few minutes, Jamie said to fire it up tonight and see if I can see any fire jumping from the coil.

hmmmmm... If that is the one you got from me, I usually run them to about 6500 checking for point bounce...I suppose if they are floating a guy could put a set of Mallory or accell points in it...

Thinking about it, somewhere I have a “normal” looking yellow coil too. If you act now on this limited time offer, you’d fit right in with all the cool kids.
