I say build them both... I got a bunch of old Monogram 1/8 scale kits that I plan on building... The BiG Deuce, BiG Drag and the BiG "T".. All from the early '60s....
Interesting. Back in the very early '60s my mother's friend had a teenage son who was afflicted with an extreme stutter. He was very self conscious and really kept to himself, but when he went to work on a model car the results were amazing. How I wish I had a few photos of those treasured old screw bottom kits and what he did with them. You brought up a great memory.
Hello guys, it's been a while since I've visited and commented. We all know, sometimes life takes a surprise, sharp turn, and we need some time to get back on the right track. Getting there. I'm not sure if I've ever posted this car, as the build stages were fairly exclusive elsewhere. Here the famous 'Pacers' fuel altered from 1965. 1:16 scale, all entirely scratch built from original plans from the Snizek family, many thanks here once again! All metal, brass body and chassis, front 12 spokes and rear end. The motor is a 3D printed piece. Check out the 'Imperial' valve covers. A one-of-a-kind model. This is a replica car. I have gorgeous decals, with a perfect gold lettering. Hoping soon to get them on there....Mike.
My recent $15.00 score. Only one broken piece and that's just a glued on / snapped off wheel on the black Corvette. Any tips here? How do I break down 25 year old glue bonds?
