Checking in once more! Zipper went to a new home and putting a new engine in the '29 extended CCPU

  3. Checking in! I was able to find a pretty cool KONG cam gear. I've never seen another one before Screen Shot 2023-06-02 at 10.40.52 AM.png

  4. Check'n in! And for those who are not gonna try to brave the rain, hail and perhaps tornadoes; here is somethin on June 24th. Those who have engines other than Models T; A and B Ford, can run for time only! But check with us before you bring a car which has a supercarged Rolls-Royce Merlin. for example. LOL! It's 60 dollars to register and run' and 10 bucks for spectators. If you have questions; call!

Hey stubbsrodandcustom, I'm a fan of Dan's gears and use them in my cars.

Not much news - been busy with life, and getting sorted for our annual holiday. I did manage to pick up a Flathead Ted brake kit, and hope to get it fitted after our break.

I copied this from the other June '23 Banger thread, that now contains a request to delete it.

Can the admins merge the two threads and since you start this every month Jiminy, just keep on starting it. For an old guy like me and I am sure many others, it gets difficult tracking the postings. This is definitely the best thread on the HAMB.

I've done a deal on this 23 T. It was an aborted resto from the 90's, he's keeping the running gear as a spare for his touring
I'm not sure exactly what I will do with it, but @Greg Stokes Fireball T is the inspiration.
It may end up on an A chassis or on a T chassis possibly with a pommy 4 banger of the peroid. IMG_20230528_145650480.jpg

Hot damn, I didn't know cragar made gears!

Being straight cut, is the sound anything like what the straight cut gears in a quick change sound like?

  23. First time working on a lathe, and first time owning a lathe, but I got the OD machined down for Dan's impeller to fit inside my Fronty pump. Next I have to open it up to accept a 5/8ths shaft, and tap it for a set screw!

Now that I'm able to machine (or at-least attempt), I now understand the possibilites are endless with this stuff. IMG_7992.jpg

  24. And there are some going to try to make it through all the Spring/Summer nasty weather in the heartland to go to Lincoln, Nebraska! go figure!

Get well, you might need an exposure to a little rust and old gas

  28. Well, try a little nitro methane then
If that doesn’t do it not sure anything will

I still believe that if you drink enough mezcal nothing else will survive in your system that can harm you

you might come up with some mutations though
