Technical Bushings

Any recommendations where to get 1.250 4 bar bushings? I have checked all the suspension manufacturers that I can think of seems most common size is 1.125.

 

Amazon shows these. I Googled 1.250 4 bar bushings.

I have a 47 Ford coup & I found new front end parts for my car at a great price on ebay & rockauto.

 

They only have 1.125.

 

already ckd those, but looks like Loyds Paint-Body has found them

 

Only 1 in stock ,3-4 weeks to get more

Br*** or bronze bushings are available from industrial supply housed.

 

Have you checked Grainger Industrial Supply??

 

Find a buddy with a lathe and make your own out of acetal rod or delrod. It will be easier in the long run.

 

I have a lathe, didn't think of making them,where do you get delrod or acetal rod,

 

Really looking for urethane

 

I found some material Delrin

 

Use the Energy Suspension part number and check Summit Racing. They probably have them in stock.

 

I buy it from MSC, it is expensive but fun to make too and it comes in black.

 

Delrin is a bearing material. It has virtually no compliace capability. Your geometry may require the bush to flex to take stress our of the ch***is and linkages.
