It is still not a very big cam. It is only .632 lift and is a hydraulic roller. The blower is an 871 and the engine is a 502. The main problem with the cam I am pulling out is the lobe center doesn’t work as well with a blower and it sounded about stock other than loud with the zoomies and the blower whine. :( This is more of an exhibition deal somewhat about the sound so it needs to sound the part. :D This should be better...we will see.

  4. I made a couple lines yesterday for the Henry J

Ordered the fittings to change this rubber over to aluminum hard line

And made a short video showing all the crap inside your lines after you make them up

Recently woke up my 59 from a 10 year slumber. Still have a few upgrades to do and lots of little details to address. 045B1C27-7BC8-4336-86ED-3D7F827E13F0.jpeg

Washed the 327 block, and remove the blower from Plan II to get it overhauled. It is going back on Plan II, don't get your hopes up yet

Most of today was spent rebuilding the bottom flow system on the cement pond in the backyard. But I did get the radiator support bracket and the new radiator mounted in the 6 cylinder position which was original to this truck. Plenty of fan clearance. NOW, I can move on to making new engine mounts. 20230608_180452.jpg 20230608_180528.jpg

Welding rocker panels in a late model car. Isn't it hilarious that new cars rust so damn bad, but I can pull a model A body out of the woods that's been sitting there for 60 years and it isn't as rusty as a 2013 o_Oo_Oo_O

Are ya gonna paint the whole car or just what you're fixing?

  21. Well………..don’t know.
The wife says paint but……she’s mentioned wanting a roadster.
So, the plan for now is, fix the bad, redo the chassis, paint jams in plus a few other places. Drop it of course
New interior and weatherstripping and let her cruise it a while. See what happens.
If I do spray it, I’d like to change a few things. Remove emblems and maybe the handles.

You say that but I've been ignoring the rust on the Pontiac...
Once this one's done I think I'll move on to fixing it.

I’m working on understanding above reply. I mean I get the cold factor but the gravity part has me stumped?
