I have read all the rules and have tried all the suggestions but i dont even know how to get the 10 posts to communicate with someone else. I see a car im interested in but i cant communicate with them cause I dont have enough posts is what i gather. Im not a computer person so this makes no sense to me.

Go on the Main HAMB Board ( not the Classifieds) and read a few articles and reply to them - that you like them or comment on them etc. That's how you get your post count up. After 10 then it takes 24 hours to get your tab to be able to send people Private Messages. You already have 5 posts now so - just need 5 or 6 more. If you read a few other posts on this 10 count you will learn why that rule was implemented. Thanks, Moderator
Help, I’m confused because a couple weeks ago I was able to place an ad in wanted, and was able to start a conversation. My profile page said I had 13 posts , now it says I have 12. But I still can’t start a conversation or access the wanted section. I really enjoy the HAMB, thanks in advance for helping with this issue.

Oh really ? Have any idea why that was implemented ? What’s stupid is assholes that sign up and just cruise the wanted ads in the classifieds and rip people off.
You haven’t made any other posts the five years you’ve been on here so.... Since we implemented a change to try to stop people who don’t post, ripping other people off in the classifieds, and you think that is stupid, the HAMB isn’t for you then. Say the word and we can send you on your way if that will make you feel better.
I recently purchased another vehicle besides my 1955 star chief, it’s a 1964 GMC.I have been away from the site for sometime and can’t access anything but confusing instructions. Has this site been hacked by the same folks that keep requesting my phone number on Facebook marketplace? I can’t even add a photo to my profile? Please help as I would like some assistance for restoring my vehicles.
I tried to sign in and the site didn’t even recognize my sign in. I created ANOTHER account and will see if it works again. Have I missed something? Secret handshake? Is this site somehow prejudice now? New moderator’s? I have never been so upset over this kind of issue.
Don't use the App ( mothballed a couple of years ago) and Don't use Tapatalk. Just use your regular browser and it will work.

Hi there, I just made a post earlier today in H.A.M.B. and it got deleted it says cutoff 1965? Are we not allowed to get advice on metalshaping for cars earlier than 1965? It is 25 years old. Thank you.
If you posted about a car that was made after 1965, unless it shares the same body style as a 65, yes it will get deleted. 1965 and older. All in the rules at the top of the page where you introduce yourself.
I put my car on for sale. Is there any way to modify the ad once it’s on there or delete it and start over I’m really not computer savvy.
Edit word at the bottom of your ad. Click on it - type the changes you want - click save. If you want to delete your ad let me know.
