Are these two carbs considered a match set?

I don't believe those stamped or cast numbers are useful for identifying the carbs. The carbs originally would've had a brass tag with a code held down by one of the top cover screws. If the tags are lost it's very difficult to know what you have, as I believe there are probably hundred's of variations of WCFB carb's.

From the shape of the throttle arms and the fact that the carb on the left in the picture was never drilled for a choke plate, they look like Corvette dual quad carbs.

I was wondering the same thing. I think the brass bowl vent tubes look like Corvette too, and they have the large bases. The OP may have lucked out and got two Corvette dual quad carbs but that doesn't necessarily mean they are a "matched set". But they are a good start.

Appear real….if complete $$$$.00. Backwards on the manifold. The one without the choke plate hole is the most valuable. Lots of info on Corvette forums. See possible value on E bay…

I had a pair of WCFBs from a late '50s 'vette. I sold them to upgrade to a TR1.

Going to take quite a bit to make them like the high $$$$$ ones but so far what I see are standard choke parts needed.
