Our local small town theater has been showing quite a few vintage movies. Last Monday night it was Rebel Without A Cause. They had a really good turnout.

Never saw it in the theater in '73 as a grade schooler. Now's my chance!

I loved AG:cool:lot of how I grew up in the movie. Me;;Could write a hole other movie with stuff we did in the same time frame***** ,,would be even funny'er too, of what was going on in Miami Florida. ! 50s n 60s,, If your going to see it for the first time, enjoy **:D,But leve or turn it off at the very end few min.=when tacked on,at the end is Hollywood bull **** { for shock or what ever makes it hollywood style to do},about fake things that happen to fake chatacters in the movie. With out that **** at the end,it's a Feel Good Movie:p:D:cool:. Too bad that little add on ,at the end was done! = That **** was then used as base to do More AG=another bad idea. Could of been another feel good, they had the good actors but not a good script for MAG< do too using the mistake added to the end of AG.

I've done a few"Way Back Story" by me,,notes here on the HAMB,some would make good movie parts,,,

I would really like to see the movie on the BIG screen. Never have in a movie theater.

I watch it every month of the year on cable but nothing beats the atmosphere with people in a theater or at a drive-in.

Playing in a couple heaters near me. I can't wait to see Toad try to buy a pint of Old Harpers on the big screen again.

Me and our car club were actually in the movie but we wound up on the cutting room floor (story of my life)! I've seen it a million times but it's been half a century since I've seen it on the big screen. Sounds like it'd be the perfect 'date night'. I'm there!

I saw it at the California Theater in San Bernardino, Ca with my stepdad in 1973.Last year I saw it on the big screen for the 1st time since 73 at the Mountain Grove Theater in Redlands,Ca. Every Tuesday they play an old movie for 5 bucks.

  23. I just marked the calendar. It's actually playing in a few theaters, near me.

Take some grand kids with you .......guys. Maybe they can begin to ***imilate some of the things we say and do.

Had a boss (big bosses no nothing son who fast tracked from an entry level job to a dept head in 5 years and knew nothing about the job). After a particularly bad decision, I asked him why he didn't look into things (asked the experienced people) before volunteering us to do things that we had fought to have changed before his arrival. He said, and I quote..........."What we have here is a failure to communicate" !
I asked him if he knew where that quote came from, and he admitted that he didn't have a clue.

I sent him the utube video of Strother Martin uttering the famous quote and told him he might want to watch the cl***ic movie.........after all the character in the movie who uttered the infamous quote was an a**hole who all the inmates referred to as "Boss". I still don't think he grasped the connection.

Yep,we need to edjamakate the the younger generation.Take one to the movie.:p

  26. With the quality and convenience of home theaters we have no desire to leave the living room. And that is a Nationwide trend. Watched AG the other day at the house, paused at my leisure
