How do I set the forum clock to my east coast time zone ??? I looked around on my profile and account but didn't see anything.
Go to "your account" Scroll down and click onto "browsing preferences" A new page opens with "location or locale" at the top [click on that and it opens time zones]
Click on the "stack of pancakes" menu in the upper right, just below the notification "ribbon" then scroll down in the left window ("General Links") and select "Your Account." Scroll down until you see "Preferences," select that and the time zone option should be the first item.
Sounds like a good excuse for being late at a business meeting. Perhaps we are on nonlinear time. “Now imagine a web. A group of infinte time lines. Running into and out of each other, in such a case time does not move with the tick of a clock but with the choice of path taken.” Dushyaant Bhati …..of coarse this could spell trouble for the 65 and before rule.
You unlock this door with the key of imagination, you enter into a place where time doesn't exist nor light or dark. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the ....... eastern time zone.
Truth. Us time travelers understand that. you calculate how far in light years the “time” period you want to visit is ahead of you plus the speed needed to reach it or outrun the “time” you’re actual in You actually move “forward”to reach something that already happened. Like bracket racing. Hopefully that “time” hasn’t been affected by a black hole. There is no date dial or setting.
What day is it? What year is it? Where am I? Who am I? Why am I? Anyone know how to set my life clock back to about 1963? I know... pancakes button...
This only works if your speed is defined in the most useless and obscure terminology, like "furlongs per fortnight".
Seem’s I happened upon this not long ago. I think it was what some call the seventh day. Funny thing is 7 doesn’t go into 365 without a remainder.
You have to use terms non time travelers understand. Like up and down are used to reference the gravitational body being referenced. I prefer “lateral” movement between dimensions. If that parallel universe is like a zillionth of a zillionth second behind ours, you can possible enjoy some cool vintage racing.
