    It's a woody. Better leaf it alone. You would get board working on the engine. And don't try to get to the root of the problem.

    That’s a 28-29 Model A fordor. They did have a lot of wood in them.

    I'd at least get that cowl, that's a good looking piece and doesn't seem to be too trapped in by the tree.

    Sitting outside for extended time with the gas cap missing? Odds are not good.

    The 28-29 Fordor has the smooth side panels on the cowl, longer than and other Model A and the filler piece in the firewall. The stock 28-29 gas tank is under there. [​IMG]

    One of the fordor bodies had a neat emblem on the lower cowel.

    A 28-29 Fordor cowl with the gas tank removed. This one was made by Murray and had the cowl band, Cowl bands for 28-29 Fords are rare and spendy. [​IMG]
