You couldn't ask for a better spot to have the event.
Catskill mountains.
Good food .
Huge pavilion.
Cold beer.
Not sure but should have a band also.

I am staying at my house, it's 33 miles from home. My project will be on display and I will be there selling parts.
I have known the guys who put it on for years!

 

So, they are having a “ Rodtober” fest……in July?

It’s a little confusing, but Rodtober fest is because the grounds Riedlbauer's is German resort.

 

Staying at the Crystal Brook Resort about a mile away. Very basic, stayed there the last 2 yrs. Great restaurant across the street.

The Glens Falls House is across the street.

 

The Towns of Windham and Greenville are only 15 minutes away, do a search for resorts.

 

I grew up in Windham and was just there for the 4th of July. The Hamilton Motel was just renovated, not sure if it's open yet.
There's also
Eastwind Hotel
Christman's Windham House
Cave Mountain Motel.

 

My wife was going to go so I thought I would get a hotel room, but she changed her mind and I am going with a buddy. We have camped everywhere. Our favorite form of travel, so Whip O Will it is.

Rain forecast for Saturday, wonder if they'll still have the reliability run?
