Projects Mid Life Crisis 62 Vette

I’m 49, when should I start watching for this Mid Life Crisis? Do they always involve a Corvette?

 

I was in my 50’s when I had the two I owned. If that’s midlife, I’ll take it!

No, I can tell you from personal experience that midlife crises do not always involve a corvette. The list of cars involved in midlife crises is almost endless...

Lol! I was 20 when I had my first one which was about my life expectancy at the time. Hard not to buy a $2500 corvette when I could even though it was a major project...

 

Some go out and buy a $30,000 Harley...and a $1000+ cosplay outfit.

True, there are about 500K of them running around here right now

I'll have to get a picture of them. Pretty small...but will fit in the spare tire well, unlike the Plan II slicks.

 

How much shorter are those to the cruiser’s?

 

slicks mounted. A tiny bit larger than the small front tires...and the stock steel wheels just clear the rear calipers.

A couple inches shorter, but still look sort of OK.

 

Just remember , theres no warrantee on that Muncie

All in all, I'd do it again in a flash if something that good came up. And guys get hot over barn finds...

 

I never thought I'd see 30... let alone 68. Cars were real cheap, but most of us made a lot less that many years back.

 

I have 6 Harleys and ride them constantly, but I refuse to dress like that!
