I haven’t been on here in years, but when I was, I had posted a lot of the progress of the build on my 53 Dodge truck. It’s finally done so I thought I would share some pictures of it with you.
Solid winner. Nice touches. I am not sure if it's light or camera, but that red is unique to eye. Looks like you did a ton O'work Thanks for sharing it. ( at last )
nicely done...I had a 55 Dodge pickup for a few years, even did an engine swap....then wife wanted to move to town..no room, I should have let her move to town....and stayed where I was. You did a darn nice job, I like your work!!
Wow, that really looks good. Seriously, very nice. So you haven't been hanging around here much for a while, huh? Well, I guess that proves it. If I spent less time on the hamb, I'd probably get more done. Aahhh... f that.
I chopped it 4” and lowered the top of the windshield frame another 1 1/2” to get the openings even all the way around.
Nice looking truck for sure. How about some details on engine, etc. Also, what did you do to run the 6 lug wheels?
Runs a built 1968 318 with a Police special 904 trans. Lokar shifter. The front and rear suspension are Dodge Dakota as are the wheels. Steering wheel is a 51 Plymouth shrunk 1 1/2” and adapted to a Chev tilt column. Dash is 49 Plymouth.
