  2. Yup, George Barris and the Twister "T". AMBR 62. It's still around. I believe this was a tire test? Or it was a test of the car like Mick said.

    That photo is one that appeared in a Rod & Custom Rod Test feature, those were the hot rodder’s equivalent of a Motor Trend road test. Acceleration, braking, handling, etc., they started around 1962.

  14. Anyone know who built this one? I looks like a couple of '32 Fords build by Bill Crowell back in the early 50's.
