Technical HAMB…or?

I was lying in bed last night and got to thinking what is the proper way to say the name of out group! Do we try to pronounce the B at the end, or just say HAM.
When we refer to a member is he/she a “ Hammer” or a ” HamBer” ?

When I say it, it sounds more like "Hammer". But everyone knows I need help.

 

I've always pronounced it with the B silent, like "HAM"...

Personally I say 'on the HAM' or 'he's a HAM'er'.

When you say "comb" or "bomb" do you add the "buh" sound to the end of it?

 

Anyone I talk to about the H.A.M.B. already know what I'm talking about, and it's pronounced with a silent B.

If by chance I'm talking to someone that may not know what I'm talking about, there won't be any doubt that I'm talking about the HOKEY**** MESSAGE BOARD !!
