I saw these wrecks from a train this past week (Melbourne-Geelong [Oz] rail line). I went back to find the spot: short bicycle ride to my local station, train into city, another train out to station nearest the wrecks, then 4 km bicycle ride. Found a hole under a fence that I could crawl through and located the spot. Unknown truck (sign writing on door for T. Nicholls - Sawmiller); green 1958-60 FC Holden Station Sedan and cream-coloured 1960-61 FB Holden Station Sedan. These wrecks are on the very edge of the greater Melbourne sprawl and will surely be soon gone to make way for more houses. [Must have been some snakes there somewhere but I didn't see any; perhaps not warm enough for them yet.]

This is really truly the essence of this thread. Not cars set up as lawn art, not stuff in garages that's just dusty, stuff like this and what Maverick Daddy has been posting from Alabama are really truly abandoned cars rotting away, many very recognizable but with very little salvageable left on any of them.
