I too had a bad experience with that very regulator just last week It would not adjust below 4 lb. Those things are junk
Threw that round regulator in garbage. I got a spectra screw down regulator 1-4 psi. Have it set initially at 1.5 psi so im sure the rubber fuel line is rated for 1.5 psi.
why are you running progressive linkage on a 4x2 setup? every single one I have ever seen including the one on my 331 cad powered 40 has straight linkage.
That guy has since retired and when I called charlie at vintage speed he wanted to see pictures because he always did straight linkage.
Im going to try it this way. The guy that made the linkage was pretty creative. Ive never seen this intake before on another car so i have to go with what I have.
I have had those intakes before, always with straight linkage, I don't know how it would work any other way. I think this is where your problems are coming from
the way those manifolds are laid out, I don't know how you can possibly have even fuel distribution running progressive linkage
Runs 2 center carbs as primary as you move primary linkage it then grabs the back carb and that rod moves front carb to
have you looked in one of those manifolds before? I think there is a very good reason why I have never seen prog linkage on one of these. you will not get good fuel distribution with prog linkage...
Interesting the guy that built this setup said he had good luck with this setup. I had no reason to argue with him. But Charlie at vintage speed said he always ran straight linkage. Maybe your onto something. I really want this setup to work. I have a lot of money in it all.

Just read an old thread dickster was the guy that built this setup for me. He came highly recommended and built alot of these intakes on progressive linkage. Im going to work with what I have for now.
With the straight linkage how did you hook up the linkage to the gas pedal? Sounds good on the motor stand
