Hated to miss the rod run, couldn't get off duty today

Man for some reason that Maroon Tempest wagon twists my throttle. And I am a diehard blue Oval fan.

 

My son traded his 63 Chevy to a fellow just outside town in Cynthiana.
Happen to see it at the show?

 

That car was incredible, 2x4 barrel, 4 speed, I’m a MoPar h guy and with the exception of a clean 71 Road Runner, that wagon was probably my favorite car there, really clean and well built.

 

Nice truck, I wasn’t there very long so I may have missed it. Hope he enjoys it, some nice stuff in that area. I May have found a 69 Charger to build that I saw on the way over. Never knew the car existed.

That Pontiac long roof is very cool, some would say to make it into a two door and call it a GTO wagon, nope, I dig it, a four speed four door "grocery getter".
