Customs 331 Hemi Spark Plug?MSD Distributor Conversion

    Im converting my 1954 Chrysler 331 Hemi to an electronic distributor.I'm using the MSD ready to run distributor. I was wonder what spark plugs I should use?Th

    No washer, 3/4 inch reach plug of any flavor should work.

  3. I'de have to look, as all my stuff is stashed in the "engine cabinet" I think Autolite # 65 is the number.
    There was a thread on this a long time ago. Plugs do matter, but with HEI, just open the gap a lil more....;)

  4. I have run both Autolite 65 or Champion RN12YC (404). As stated already, both plugs need the washers removed.

    Autolite 65 is common.

  7. I havent seen Splitfire plugs in at least ten years. Are thay still around?

    I used GM HEI's from a 454 as they reved at about the same rate and the color on the plugs, NGK was a light redish brown. the 454 had different sprigs and counter weights from the smallblock version
