    Got a pic?

I picked a fight with a kangaroo while riding my Harley a couple of weeks ago, which unfortunately is going to put a dampener on my progress for a while (7 broken ribs, smashed toe, punctured lung etc etc). I had been planning on making it to the Model A 95th birthday in Gulgong in a couple of weeks, but seems unlikely now.

I've had to dodge moose a couple times, successfully, luckily. Would have been like hitting a concrete wall. Hit a damned sparrow one time that I thought would take my head off. Thankful I had a helmet on. Don't recall any kangaroo problems in Alaska.

Hoping you have a speedy recovery partner.

Here you go - they handle heaps better than the Lucas that I had on it.

Thanks heaps for the lead on them - the guys at Stuckey Tyres were so good to deal with. I might even replace the rear ones with the same tyre .... after the firestones wear out. I believe they have 700x18's.

Geez - you don't do things by half do you???
    Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I blew my budget, Money and time, so I won't be going to Gulgong either - I 'donated' $50 thinking I could go.

I'll be there for the 100th

they were $250 ea, plus $45 per tube and $20ea delivery. I had them fitted by a local (independent) tyre guy.

I thought about getting my 16" Kelsey Hayes wires trued up, blasted and painted and fitting firestones all round. But its not in my budget at the moment

    Thanks!
    Lol! Thanks.

Thanks mate. Bike will be repairable, though it's made a bit of a mess.
Look good! Glad you're happy with them.
Yeh... If something's worth doing...? I've been contemplating how possible it is for me still to go. Part of the issue is I was intending to camp, and I don't think my ribs would be very happy about getting up and down off the ground...
    Thanks!

Good question! Left the scene of the crime, but don't know how far he got. Big dumb bastard. Landed in the road less than a car length in front of me out of nowhere and just stood there looking at me...

@AZ_Nick What brand of intake is that! The rockers are the same ones that came on my Olds three port, so must be Nash!

That’s a Burns intake with Winfield bolt pattern. Here’s a picture of the stock Olds rockers for reference…
