FB_IMG_1692024345648.jpg would this be considered homogenized? L.O.L.

I always wonder of the histories behind these as the modern elements may be just masking past history, many times not in a complimentary way unfortunately...

That looks well done...hopefully it gets dusted off soon...

I really like how you capped the wheelwells off...more aerodynamic...there's a thread on that...filled wheelwells...lots of drama there...:D...these are things they did back in the day...and there's pics to prove it...why...to go faster of course and oh yeah...ready for it, the look...

Looking good indeed...are you going to make a top for it Ollin?

...this has racing provenance and is really quite a historic capsule but wouldn't this make a nasty Hotrod...AND it's for sale...it's poncho powered to boot...sinister...perhaps it was a street strip machine...

@Flat Power gotta tug a little at the heartstrings to let it go...

The vintage pics highlight how much of a capsule it really is...look at those pipes...

...This was Hamber @Chevy28's former ride that has went on to a new owner...the Hamb has so much going on it's hard to keep up on things...Chevy has now embarked on a new adventure that is going to be a nice transition from his former ride...

I sure would like to see a bit more of the former Roadster as it has the look that captures the eyes and pull you in...

Your welcome and the new owner is very fortunate...I'd be pretty pumped to be in their shoes...;)...Thanks for the additional pics and congrats on well deserved ink. Rad skills you have Chevy...You sure have the vintage Hotrod mindset without a doubt...I look forward with many others here to your continuing journey around vintage metal...

This is as I call it many times...across the pond excellence...

You did Chevy owners proud! That coupe had GREAT wood in it! Did you use the bottom part? Was anyone interested in what you removed. I'm rebuilding the wood on a '26 roadster now. I wish it had been that nice. Thanks for leaving it so much vintage Chevy. Great detail. My first was not near that nice.

When i bought that 28 it was " unfinished restoration project " or rather an started one. The woods had been already done from ground-up in sweden. They looked so good i even thought of an restoration project for a while, until i started fitting the sheet metals/body panels to the woods, and nothing fitted anywhere !
Then i decided to build in in my own taste but I did keep the woods ! Just had to do a load of work to them, to make them fit.
I didnt't sell the left over woods from roof, still hanging on garage wall

Whew! Just made it through all 234 pages!!! Lol. I'm feeling super inspired now with all the cool cars in this thread. I'll probably need a new phone with all the pics I saved.
Thanks for tagging me Stogy. I started that build thread in 2010 with the same sentiments as the O.P. life happened and priorities shifted and it got put on hold. I have the car parked at my mom's house and I finally got tired of her asking when I'm going to do something with it, so I have really been pushing on it this last year, and especially this last month.
I'm getting ready to post some updates soon!

Your a brave man to venture through this Thread...it's a pretty big one...but well worth it...glad you're in it too...;)

Thanks for your likes @OLLIN...it's obvious we and many who follow and contribute to this Thread celebrate the extended diversity of the Hotrod past...pretty incredible really...

Really excited for your journey coming together...I look forward to any milestones your share with us...neat Hotrod...;)
