Those late 50s/early 60s American sporty cars had some really neat designs....the 62 Tbird a friend had years ago really impressed me.... just a couple internet pictures

I think the 63 Ford pictured first still takes the cup.

Any of the big three from the forties. Vinyl was starting to take over in the fifties and by the sixties only high end stuff still sported cloth or leather. I got a fond memory of MoPar mohair from when I was a wee youngin.
That '26 Rolls, though... man that's impressive. You have to be properly dressed to ride in that.

62 and 63 Grand Prix are very cool. Plus they have a great dash.

The coachbuilder appears to have been an obscure Wolverhampton firm called Charles Clark & Son, which may or may not have been related to carriage-builders William Clark or Rover/Triumph/BMC dealers Charles Clark or both. Interior artisans were brought in from France for this job.

Wonder who it belonged to?:eek: Sorry, I forgot my syntax manners . I meant to inquire thusly, "One would wonder to whom this most fashionable conveyance belonged"?

  13. My deleted post of a 67 was just to show how late in the 60s Mopars still had great interiors.
The model was unchanged from 66 and was unveiled in 65. Being how technical to details we are, it fits like a glove. :)

The early 60's Pontiac tri color and the 63 & 64 Galaxy XL's get my vote.

I had a white 63 box top XL 406 with that exact same interior. Alas, I have no pictures of it.

  17. I had a '61 white Bonneville convertible with a red leather interior. It was two shades of leather, it was kick -a$$!

56 Cadillac. 56 Packard Carribean had reversable seat coushions, leather on 1 side, cloth on the other....pretty cool for the era.

  19. I just saw a nice '61 with the tri-color interior earlier this week.

  20. No love for the Buick Rivs? Those get my vote, even up to the OT-ish '66 to the '68.
