History GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY, WHAT WAS THIS GUY THINKING?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Sep 6, 2023.

  1. The old T's make excellent hot rods using just about any body style Henry Ford produced, but this guy went the opposite way a hot rodder would go, was this car built to get around in swamps in Mississippi or what? HRP

Nothin' new to see here. I'll bet he's got about a dozen great grandsons running around up here with 4-wheel drive pickups with the same thing done to 'em. Most of them can afford fatter tires, though.

We call 'em "Small penis trucks".

What to do when the river is rising and you just got to get through?

    Taxi service for the lowlanders?

Don't need no stinking boat, we're gunna fish right out of the car windows.

Bet I can get across to the other side of the creek before you can.

Can you imagine him sitting in the middle of a deep creek, water just up to the running boards. His buddy Clem comes along and asks "how deep is it Bubba?"

Bubba replies "It's only up to the running boards..."

The rest is up to you guys to ponder

Well, years ago I watched this show of guys running through mud pits, etc in a arena made for it. Guys with big wide tires sliding around on top of the slush.
The trucks at the top were lifted and running narrow, tall tires and wheels.

Only thing that’s really has me thinking here, is why is there one guy sitting in the rear of the car? Is this some type of a “for hire” thing to get him to where he needs to go?

2 questions that come to mind...
    1. How the hell did they get in there?
    2. Who draws the short straw to hand crank it when he stalls mid mudhole?
