Did a few videos, one with some Mechanical brakes tips and tricks. Hope it helps someone out down the road. So I am going to be on the hunt for a 3.54 gear or a 3.27 for it since I have 4.11s in there now.... If anyone is up for swapping rears let me know.

Looks real good, I like the old paint on it. Not that I'd do it, since this one is so clean to begin with, but you can make a 3W coupe out of one of these. Here's a quick and dirty rendering, just for fun.

For sure. I have a T roadster now but I've got pretty much all of the pieces collected to put a '34 together. Should be like going from a motorcycle to a limousine size-wise I figure.

Went out for her first trip of decent mileage. Went out to Bruce’s Rod shop 80th birthday party. 14 miles each direction. Good shakedown run. No issues to report. few photos from the party.
So upon leaving after things had cooled off completely from the birthday party, she was hard to start. I was trying to figure out why when she fires off super easy on short trips, well I was like huh I wonder........ Yep fuel line on the radiator hose. Heating up and maybe caused some vapor lock etc? Who knows, but this will be better with my temp copper line till the 2x2 sharp goes on. I am not a big fan of rubber/plastic fuel lines anyways... Hope to try it out this weekend possibly. Before!!!! Well, few updates from the last week. The dash was bothering me. So I started sanding down and found this. Figured it was worth showing as it has some kind of story attached to this weird stuff. So I then realized I needed to pull the dash to get things right, stripped it all the way down to bare metal after the first failure of painting and reaction. So here is the result... Still needs to be cut and buffed but you get the picture... Who knows, may not even cut and buff it out. Looks so much better... So now onto the funnnnn. I have had this intake as the first thing I bought for the car... I bought it the same day I put a deposit on the car. Sharp 2x2 set back for Generator running. I had to do do threaded inserts in the fuel pump bolts as they were almost stripped... I re clocked the fuel pump to clear with the angle this sets it at. So now all I am waiting on is carbs. But doing all the fuel lines copper compression as I don't like dealing with rubber lines if I can get away from them. I have beautiful fuel blocks waiting if I change my mind but for now. NAH... Few notes, the drivers spark plug tube will not fit on the orig. holes due to the sharps not having the bolt holes between the ports, so I drilled and tapped those 1/4"-20 and used some 1/2" long bolts to hole the drivers side tube on. No one would be any the wiser if you didn't know what to look for. More pics to come soon....
Ah forgot to update on the fuel line touching the upper radiator hose, getting them separated fixed the vapor lock issue. Started up last weekend like a champ after driving it for another long trip.
A little update, I got the "rebuilt" 97s in, put them on, one idle circuit on both of them is non adjustable, you can screw the mixture screw in or out, no changes in how the motor runs. And it runs like crap, smokes like a bar fly drinking PBR and missing somewhat, but off idle its punchy and pulls good. The intake suffered a stud pulling out so I had to pull it down anyways. So in searching for the carb issue, I put the single manifold back on, and tried the new carbs 1 at a time, both never would run right, put the old knock off 97 back on, smooth as butter so it tells me these "professionally rebuilt" carbs have some issues, Thinking blocked idle bleed or mixture screws trash. I am going to have a discussion with someone about this for sure. Really thinking about saving up a few bucks and buying brand new strommys. But I was relieved when she fired up and ran good on the knock off 97 so I know all is well and my hunches were right about these carbs. In doing all this, I decided to run a Compression test... Very impressed with these numbers... 1. 105 2. 105 3. 100 4. 100 5. 110 6. 110 7. 105 8. 120
Well here is some pre holiday updates... I had to pull the sharp intake due to 2 studs pulling out of the aluminum. Fixed these with threaded inserts.... I am currently running the old knock off 97 on the sharp and a block off plate till I figure out what I am going to do carb wise. I am searching for a buildable set of cores I think for some 97s or just buy brand new... Probably best to buy new but I wanted to update a few things first. With that said, I had to snap some photos, did alot of garage cleaning and things looked cool in the low light... The 59 in the car, I dropped the pan, cleaned out some sludge in the bottom of the pan, everything looks good through and through, so I am thinking that with good compression, I have a few stuck oil rings, so hopefully some miles will reduce the blowby, its better than it was already but we will see how she does. I may do a re ring with the block in the car. But in pulling the pan off I found my massive oil leaks, one was the dipstick tube flange, I expected that one honestly, but the rear pan seal was installed and curled up so it was not sealing at all. I did buy a 3.25 gear, so that is on the list of things to do soon before the spring. I also bought some lowering shackles to line the car up and take a little rake out of it. Stay tuned. Onto the other side project. The forgotten 8ba that has been under cover since getting it back from machine shop. I got tired of having it looking homely under a bag. So I took my speed parts displays and installed them on the motor to help close it up. Looks so much better painted and with some cool stuff on it. The offy heads will probably go on the car at some point when I do a re ring job, Or I will break the piggy bank open and get a set of sharp heads. I think it would be cooler with matching sharp stuff anyways, but expensive. But I need to get around to building the 8ba for future project but its hurting me to have it sitting now looking cool. Just takes a little space...
Well, a little more updates... So the last cruise in for our local joint was last night. Decided to get the car out saying I lowered the rear with some drop shackles. Looks cool, now tucking some rear tire... May need to add the leafs back in to come up a smidge. Reason coming up. So with that said, I pulled out on our main road to head out, started hearing this banging sound on bumps... I could hear the sound but not feel it in the frame or floor. Figured something was bumping, but weird its not felt in the car at all, only heard. So I pulled the back seat out since it was deff coming from under there. Low and behold the cover just had a piece of 1/4" plate covering it up, the rear diff was hitting it on bumps making it move and make noise. Looked at the bottom of the back seat and its cut out for there to be a little upward travel for the diff. So I needed a simple solution for the time being. Put some carboard in there just for now to seal out the fumes till I pull the rear axle for the gear swap. Figure I will space the rear seat up 1/2" at the back, and build a custom diff cover that has a recess for the banjo to actually fit up into it. This has me thinking that rolling with more than 1 other person is kinda out of the question at the moment. So Ill massage the spring pack and see what happens with that by going up a smidge also. Decided to paint the gas tank and rear frame rails to clean up the look back there. Now that we got that out of the way. Car ran good, stayed cool, is smoking a little less, oil doesn't leak at all. So all in all good times! Pic from the new lowering job.
