I ran a wanted ad on the HAMB. I received a reply from a HAMB member. Under his avitar it says Aaron Stachewicz I picked out the red one out of about 5 he had. It was very long. Good for side steer He sent me pictures. These are the pictures he sent. I don't know how to download so I took pictures of the emails he sent me. The other picture is the box he shipped. Paid by paypal. NOT F& F. I told him I would rather have the red box and not the refund. No offer from him. 2023-09-14 17.47.57-1.jpg 2023-09-14 17.47.57-2.jpg 2023-09-14 17.47.57-3.jpg Now I go to the paypal resolution. Get to " Show the LINK to the product page" I have no freak'n idea what they are talking about.

    Item not as described ,

    A HAMB member ?

You can also contact bank , fraud department,
Been some years since I use PayPal so I don't know how their webpage is now somebody will chime in

  3. They are assuming you bought it from an online auction like eBay so they want a link to the listing of the auction. You didn't so that part doesn't apply to you but you are going to have to attach documentation of the conversation you had with the seller that is legible not blurry pictures of your computer like you posted here. They are not just going to take your word for it. Purchasing things online from individuals may not be your thing.

Looks to be a wheeler-dealer, he’s here for the free lunch. He gets pricing info and free ads without the eBay fees. Nothing illegal about that, but…., oh, never mind.

Actually yeah I am blind. I asked a serious question because I didn't get what was going on other than you said you asked for the red one and didn't get it. But honestly I couldn't give a shit now.

  20. The point is without being able to download and send paypal the actual communications that took place between the two of you paypal isn't going to give a flying f what you tell them. Showing them a picture of two things means nothing. Unless you have an email that you can attach to your complaint of you asking for the red steering box and him replying yes that is what I will send you paypal will tell you to go pound sand.

Thanks guys for trying to help. Sorry if I rubbed someone wrong, Just lighten up. OK. I don't keep any money in papal.. I don't like how they operate. Paypal took the $150.00 from my Bank of America credit card. That's better than dealing with paypal. But I may get the same B S from those a holes.

  22. Going to be the exact same situation with the cc company. They are not going to give you your money back because you say you didn't get what you asked for. You have to have actual proof of a deal that you can send them.

    Fellas - let's be cool.
    I'll do some checking.

I'm closing this for now as seems things get riled up.

This much I do know - there usually is 2 sides to every story and in all fairness to both parties it's best to not post until all sides are known and that's what I am doing.

Frames, will get back with you.

    This has been resolved.
    All parties are good.
    There was no fraud attempt.
Just a miscommunication and some patience / time to work through the issue.

Thank you Aaron Stachewicz and Frames for working it out.
