My "time machine" is under construction, I will be going back to a time before I was born, current plans are chop n channel, white chassis, red engine, metalflake blue body, white upolstered top, twin 59 caddy taillights, feista caps, tube rear bumper, white pleat interior with low back buckets and angel hair roof lining.

 

Lots of gassers here.. so I guess mine fits in.

 

I'd like to think it has a 60's vibe to it, but could be wrong. This is before the chop. I love the 60's stuff, its the period I would have loved have been able to spend my youth and build experimental crazy Drag cars and HotRods.......But missed the boat and was born in 69........................Littleman

 

Everytime I see this it makes me hard!

 

I never get tired of looking at bleed's car , 60's for sure and perfect in every sense .

Heres a bunch from Marts Hot Rods Page..

 

This car belongs to an old friend of mine, and it is sitting in the same spot for over thirty years. The gasser guys have been searching for it for years. It got it's top chopped in the late 60's, raced for a few years after that, then parked. The guy that has it, is well into his 70's, and of course won't part with it.

 

DAMN Nice bunch of cars posted so far, let's keep 'em com'n !

This one is one of my all-time favorites from the 60s. Saw this car run at Lions the very first time I ever went to the drags, and have not been the same since.

 

That looks like the Tony Nancy car.... Is it?

That's Hugh Tucker's Olds-powered modified roadster. It was beautifully restored a few years back and regularly particpates in nostalgia "cacklefests".

The car was a consistant winner and had a reputation that paralleled the agressive launch shown in the photo. Always a major player in NHRA's national events.

 

Here 's my '41 Willys I built 4 years ago.

 

Thanks!.... You would think that I'd know that answer. I go to the Reunion every year, but for whatever crazyass reason, have never been able to stay for the Cacklefest....
