For those who have never been in KY, take some time to ride around, beautiful state. The eastern half is mountains, lakes and streams, very beautiful and some great driving. I live near Lexington in Horse Country, some amazing farms and scenery in this section. Western KY has a completely different look from the rest of the state, but still pretty. Ignore Louisville, it's not much to brag about.

 

I'll buy you a fish sammidge, ok?

 

To keep it Kentucky fried Cornbread, Fried Polk and Greens should be on the menu along with some Catfish. Blackberry Cobbler and homemade vanilla ice cream for desert.

We are leaving Friday morning, Truckdoctor Wife wants to stop at some Frog Winery in Paducah and possibly at Beam’s, then we will be there! I have looking forward to this since Lloyd mentioned it last year! This is actually going to be our 25th wedding anniversary trip.

 

This maybe a dumb question, but will there be beer for sale?

 

I'm not a drinker at all, but a visit to the Woodford Reserve distillery is pretty cool and supposed to be one of the best to tour.
