    Hello,

    For something a little different. When we were taking care of our fast growing, toddler granddaughter, one of our favorite destinations was a Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Not only did they have the best magazine collection, but each store had a separate place for toddlers and parents or grandparents to sit and read aloud to spend some quality time in the store. It was usually in a “Kids” section, so as not to disturb anyone else in the store.

    Then after we read some books, we looked at the toy section and finally settled down in the café section for a drink and snack. But, the reading area was full of good book selections. We had to select a book of our choice and bring it over to the area to read aloud. She could already read, but liked my wife and I to sit with her to read a ton of books. So, I selected a book that looked fun.

    The story line(s) of all of these books were very cool and on target.

    Note:

    The air foil wing was purposely left off in the art drawing, due to the fact that the wing is not HAMB traditional hot rod style…

    :rolleyes:...This was a color Inspiration for @Austinrod's aquisition a few years ago...quite an elegant Hybrid of Custom/Hotrod and Sportscar all in one...a fair bit of work correcting picture flaws and things with a positive outcome in my opinion...

    For those that aren't aware, I believe it started out as a 34 Ford Tudor...

    It sported several colors in its period crawl and always looked good doing it...and garnered many, many awards...

    I think he may still have it...yes he does but it's up for grabs...it was brilliant Red when he acquired it...

    :rolleyes:... @Ryan did a Thread on recruiting back in the day and a crew of pilots that flew these monsters...I did this Inspiration to @garage2small's pic he shared some time ago...the plane was on a plinth...but I think it looks pretty neat minus it...A Hamb era jet by the way the F104 Starfighter...an elegant Rocket with wings...

    :rolleyes:...Hemicat said 'More Art'...this was a Printing Plate shared by a Hamber who slips my mind at the moment but I did this Inspiration around it's Inked look which has somehow morphed a wee bit aka a Hamb flavored tweak here and there...those with a period lens will note those tweaks...I had fun with it...

    @Lepus...was it you that posted this? I saw another post and it was from a Hamber thanking another for receiving one exactly as the one I modded...
