One of 200 1942 Special Deluxe sedans sent to the USSR in 1943 on the lend-lease program:


It was imported in to Finland after the fall of the USSR to be restored but as you can see it is still awaiting restoration.

 

Tough looking tires on those old Russian cars. I had these two N.O.S. just like that. Sold them to a guy who drove little Suzuki 4x4s in trials.

 

This is the second '57 Chevy I've seen with wide stripes in the quarter inserts like that. Was this a trend at some point?
