The 57 Chevy was my high school car 1971, the truck you referred to is a 66 Suburban, bought it in the early 90's, a long term project that sadly will need to find a new caretaker.

Been slowly working on media blasting this Austin Healey bonnet. Primer to keep it from flash rusting.

^^ never seen lever shocks mounted like that. Not much movement on radius rods that far back from axle but clean different design for show

Welcome to the land of Aus...they have a way of pushing limits in a good way...I call it down under thunder...it may be showy but I'm sure it'll get tested/driven to the limit...I wonder if the bones are split...I'm thinking not...

Gee thanks. Not a 350, 350 9” car. Spring behind front axle, 1 1/4” channel body 610 louvres in pans and body. 181 Mercruiser with fuel injection and magneto.

    It’s a ‘46 wishbone unsplit, spring behind a 5” drop axle.

Red, look forward to more of your other louvered work...and seeing the Roadster when it's all together...because it's all louvered of course...;)

I may have jumped the gun on calling it a Roadster...is it that or a Coupe perhaps...

You join quite a number of very skilled Louversmiths here that continue to keep things cool both visually and physically...

These pix are from early in the build. So far I’m up to 610 louvres in the body and pans. Don’t want to over do it haha.
