I saw an add on messenger. Thought not a chance. I phoned and it rang busy for almost an hour. Then a very nice gentleman answered the phone. The next thing you know we are loading a nice chopped and channelled ‘32 sedan on the trailer. I still can’t quite believe it happened. The gentleman had owned it for 49 years and the last 44 were spent in that little shed.
Great car....congrats. Hope you also got what looks like 15x12 Ansen Sprint mags too...theyre worth bucks.
Don, beat me to it (Wow)! We all hope that there's more to the story, share when you can. Did you get the slots or any other goodies? I'd say it was a Pretty Good Day, Congrats.
All I pull out of old sheds are rodent skeletons. Dang that’s a nice find. You mentioned the phone was busy for an hour as you were trying to call. Did the owner offer any insight on that? It’s not important, just wondering.
I’d say “overall a very good day” Nice to see something like this finding a way back into circulation!
A guy I know could be his twin, same mode of dress, only longer hair & beard. He has running Hot Rods, Model A truck,33 3w, If he calls, dig in for the long haul, phone calls with him are usually 30- 45 minutes long.
Sectioned on the back half! That's odd. Twenty years ago my brothers, Dad, and I went to a huge auction in Minnesota with a ton of 32's for sale. Dad bought a couple tudors, both chopped and channelled. Your car reminds me of those.
Too Cool...I believe I shared this some time ago...from back in the day...I was a Canadian project that was incomplete...I Have to go snooping... I believe it was a Hamber's relatives...maybe out West...aka BC or Alberta...
