No it's just electric hookups. I'm sure you can bring a grill and charcoal though.

 

Anytime on Friday. When I talked to him this morning, he told me he'll be at the track on Wednesday and if anybody wanted to come early they're welcome to. I told him most have told me they will be there on Friday.

I've been "driving" around Owingsville recently on Google Earth. I was looking forward to having a chilidog at Erma's, but according to their FB page they just closed for the winter. Too bad.

You can camp at the drag strip, toilets and shower houses there. But the campground that Ron stayed at, the outpost, is about 10 minutes away.

 

Well I've quit worrying about it finally, I wanted it to be big, but it'll be what it is right? Gotta start somewhere!

After perusing the list of attendees....I believe it will take quite a while for the Owingsville, Ky area to recover after this weekend!

The Nash now has a working generator & even brakes! Getting really close.

Will there be live cameras to bring us the action? Perhaps a podcast during happy hour? Or at the least a daily picture dump?

 

Bringing some wide 5s, F1 shock mounts, an 8BA dual intake manifold I'm tired of messing with, a Merc manifold with the rear inlet 4 bolt carb, a couple of different large sized circle track racing slicks on wide 5s, a NOS Ford logo spotlight with hardware and original instructions and other varied and assorted stuff that needs a new home. Don't be afraid to make me an offer, we can always laugh about it and negotiate. Anyone need some 15" 5 on 5.50 original steel wheels or some 7 x 14 or 7 x 15 aluminum wheels? Grinding wheels, brushes, 1/0 welding lead? Anyone need a new aftermarket 351W intake?

Cool idea. I’d do it but I don’t have time before the get together (sadly for me I’m not attending). Tape and sharpies are good too.
