@down-the-road Hello, The Willys-Overland Model 77 is one unusual looking sedan. But, the model year ran from 1933 to 1936. Very small changes to each year model, but the overall styling was similar per year. Most of the drag racing cars were used after the 40-41 Willys coupes were the rage and the need for more power with less weight was at hand. So, the 1933-36 Willys coupes hit the scene with a vengeance. Then as some even ventured into the 4 door sedan models. The HAMB thread is quite popular to showcase the 1933 - 1936 Willys, Picture Thread. Jnaki In So Cal many years ago, one of the only Model 77 sedans was used as an Altered Class Sedan from Scotty’s Muffler Service. We saw it in person in 1959 at one of the biggest drag races in the USA at the time. It was a car show and drags all rolled into one event. 1959 Riverside Raceway This B/Altered Class sponsorship by Scotty’s Muffler Service started in 1957 for the Colton Antiques Club. Nov 1957 Since fender-less sedans are somewhat popular these days, perhaps it could be a full custom sedan for the street with some mods. But, at any rate, it is one of the earliest sightings of a 1933-36 Willys Sedan, fenders or not…YRMV
