Good pics, good trip. just so you know, it's spelled Guymon. I have made the trip from where you started many times in the 80's and 90's. Doesn't look like much has changed.

Neat ride along photo's from Winduptoy, good to see someone enjoys the back road, small town forgotten brick streets, art deco buildings & wide-open spaces. Recently drew a straight line from Durango to home in Papillion Ne. plenty of excellent two-lane highways with minimal traffic. plenty of early trucks across eastern Colo. & Kansas & occasional limestone fence posts still seen on a couple of stretches where trees & lumber were scarce in the early years.

It's my best attempt under parking lot conditions... I'll try to clean it up after I get home....and run lots of miles with the top down.... Since 1932.....I'm hoping it works on a '31.....
